25 WEEKS

How far along: 25 weeks

Baby Size: the baby is the size of a small eggplant (8.5 inches and 1.75 pounds)

Weight gain: down .3 pounds from last week, up about 3 pounds overall

Maternity clothes: yep

Stretch marks: nope

Sleep: pretty good

Best moment this week: Hearing that Baby Girl is "structurally normal" per the fetal MRI, and that she has a NORMAL microarray - meaning she, by definition, has good genes! ;) Praise the Lord!

Looking forward to: our 26 week appointment to see our girl on another ultrasound

What I miss: I'd LOVE a cocktail.

Movement: yes! Starting to even notice it throughout the night (but I'm a light sleeper)

Food cravings: Halloween candy...have eaten most of it in the house that was intended for Trick-or-Treaters...

Anything making you queasy or sick: nope

Gender: GIRL!

Labor Signs: nope

Symptoms: still very tired and worn out emotionally, especially after awaiting the results of MRI and microarray. Physically, my ribs are KILLING me in the middle of the night! Not sure if it's the position I'm sleeping in or if everything's getting squished to make room.

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Mood: cautiously getting excited

Nursery: we ordered the first nursery item this week: the dresser! PB Kids was having a special of no surcharge on furniture, so we snapped up a dresser that I love. It's not the original one I'd been eyeing, but I love this one even more!

26 WEEKS

How far along: 26 weeks

Baby Size: the baby is the size of an head of lettuce (9.2 inches and 2 whole pounds!) - but at our appointment this week, she was measuring over 2 pounds!

Weight gain: up .8 pounds from last week, up about 4 pounds overall

Maternity clothes: yes, and I just bought some more from Zulily and Old Navy. Seeking a great shower dress!

Stretch marks: nope, still using my oil every day!

Sleep: it varies. Been waking up a lot and the rib pain and heartburn isn't helping

Best moment this week: having such a promising appointment with our specialist, and hearing that there's no reason to think our sweet girl's condition is lethal! Praise God!

Looking forward to: registering this weekend! We've put it off with everything that's been going on, so now it's go time!

What I miss: would still love a cocktail...especially with work reaching it's annual peak of stress in the next 3 weeks

Movement: all the time and throughout the day. I cannot get enough of it! She's even getting strong enough for it to hurt a little at times!

Food cravings: someone hide the Halloween candy. Can't. Stop.

Anything making you queasy or sick: doing pretty good here!

Gender: GIRL!

Labor Signs: nope

Symptoms: rib pain, heartburn, round ligament pain at times, not sleeping great

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Mood: so hopeful and grateful after our MFM appointment this week!

Nursery: nothing in there yet but excited to order more!

Prayer for Baby: Our sweet baby girl, your movement reminds me all day, every day that there is a LIFE inside me that God has given you and us. I don't know what God has planned for your life, but I know it's going to be good! Seeing an image of you so often both on ultrasound and even a rare MRI is amazing and makes me stare in wonder at your tiny form. Although I hope it is at least 11 more weeks (or better yet 14, to your due date) until we meet you, I grow more and more excited by the day to hold you in this world. We love you so, so much!
